     Terms and Conditions

    1. Insurance. In order to ensure you are covered by our insurance policy, users are required to scan and email both sides of their photo-card and paper driving licenses to mto.1507sqn@gmail.com not less than one working week prior to your booking.  Failure to send your scanned documents through in the required timeframe will result in your booking being cancelled.  Once you are registered with our insurers, you do not need to repeat this process every time you wish to use the vehicle unless you are convicted of a motoring offence.

    2. Driver Categories. ACP 24 ACAI 411 covers the driver qualifications to drive a Permit 19 SOV.  To comply with our insurance policy, all drivers must be aged 25-70, have at least two years driving experience and a full UK driving license with Category B or better.  Ideally, drivers should be D1 qualified.

    3. Standing Orders. All drivers are required to read and sign to state they have read and will comply with the Squadron SOV Standing Orders which will be available both at the Squadron HQ and in the SOV itself.  All drivers are personally liable for the vehicle, its maintenance and good order when being used for authorised ACO activities.  A full briefing will be delivered when you collect the vehicle.

    4. Assessment. All drivers are subject to a short driving assessment by the Sqn MTO.  Arrangements for assessments are to be made by emailing mto.1507sqn@gmail.com and should take place at least one week before the booking.  Failure to complete an assessment will result in your booking being cancelled.  Once completed, assessments are valid for 12 months. The MTO reserves the right to refuse any potential driver access to the vehicle in compliance with our SOV Standing Orders.

    5. Fuelling. The vehicle will be fully fuelled prior to your collection.  A digital photograph of the fuel gauge will be taken to prove this.  The vehicle is to be returned fully fuelled.  Several fuel stations are located close to the Sqn and should be used to fill the tank the fully prior to return.

    6. Collection/Drop Off. Arrangements for collection/return of the vehicle outside of normal parade nights are to be made in advance with the MTO.
